Bosman, A (MSc)

Anna-Mari Bosman was born on the 21th of May, 1968, Pretoria, South Africa.  She enrolled at the Tshwane University of Technology to study Veterinary Technology (National Diploma Veterinary Technology) in 1987 and graduated in 1989. She also obtained her Higher Diploma in Veterinary Technology in 1993 and a Masters Degree in Veterinary technology, 1999, at the same institution. She obtained a MSc (Veterinary Tropical Diseases) degree entitled “Detection of Babesia species in domestic and wild Southern African felids by means of DNA probes”, in November 2010 (University of Pretoria) and was accepted as PhD student in the Department of Genetics, University of Pretoria as part of the anti-tick vaccine programme in 2011.

She is a full-time staff member in the Department of Veterinary Tropical Diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Science since 2000, and is involved in the management of student laboratories and training of post graduate students in molecular techniques.
